Domestic abuse can happen to anyone

Northumberland Domestic Abuse Services (NDAS) is here to support anyone affected by any type of domestic abuse.

As a community-focused charity, NDAS works to provide vital support and advocacy for individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, across the whole of Northumberland.

Domestic abuse can affect people at any point in their lives and can take many different forms. This may include physical harm, as well as emotional, verbal, psychological, sexual, or financial abuse, and patterns of control. Anyone can experience domestic abuse, regardless of gender, sexuality, or gender identity.

We aim to raise awareness within communities and in wider society, to challenge abusive behaviours, tackle stigma and shift norms around violence and abuse.
