'First Time Free' the powerful drama returns to the stage

March 29, 2018

Powerful drama 'First Time Free', is a prevention performance about sexual exploitation that toured high schools across the North East last year. Developed by young people from Northumberland, NDAS, Open Clasp Theatre Company and Brighter Side (Northumberland Adolescent Participation Group), the drama was designed to open discussions around healthy relationships and sexual exploitation among high school students. At the beginning of 2018 it was nominated for NWG (National Working Group) Unsung Hero Award, and this April, it returns to the stage in Northumberland. Find out more about First Time Free from the project report, here.

On Wednesday April 18th, at Astley Community High School, First Time Free will be performed by Year 11 students. The event is free, but grab your tickets now to make sure you register for a place.
