Changes to NDAS partners and services

March 8, 2018

Following the successful delivery of IDVA services by NDAS over the last two years, we are pleased that Northumberland County Council have recognised the importance of this provision for high-risk victims and have commissioned an integrated service (to be provided by Places for People).

Our Services: NDAS’ highly trained and experienced staff will continue to provide specialist support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse, helping them to recover from their experiences and re-build their lives. We will deliver services across Northumberland with a particular focus on reaching out into rural areas and identifying unmet needs.

Referral: Our referral pathways and partners can be found on our website, here.

Our referring partners from 01.03.18 include: Police, Victims First, Health (GP’s, A&E, DAHA, Hospital etc.), NTW, Mental Health Teams (CYPS and Adults), Safeguarding Adults and Lighthouse Partners. We also welcome self-referrals.

Practitioners: Our practitioners will deliver services to adults affected by domestic abuse, alongside specialist interventions for their children. However, victims assessed as being at very high risk should be referred to the Places for People IDVA service:

Get in touch: We look forward to working with you all in the future. If you have any questions about NDAS services please do not hesitate to get in touch.on 01434 608030 or via our website .
