Don't miss the chance to see Open Clasp Theatre Company's free global stream this November. Open Clasp are streaming online their multi award-winning play 'Key Change' to coincide with the UN campaign International Day to End Violence Against Women & Girls.
'Key Change' was winner of The Carol Tambor ‘Best of Edinburgh’ Award 2015, and when it premiered in New York in 2016, as the prestigious New York Times Critics’ Pick.
Devised with women in HMP Low Newton, UK and originally toured to male prisons, Key Change is a raw and illuminating portrayal of women in prison. It was performed at the Houses of Parliament, UK in 2016 to help Parliamentarians, policy makers and influential people to further understand the complex journey faced and experienced by women who come into contact with the Criminal Justice System, and the impact that gender violence on their lives.
NDAS will be hosting a screening, on Wednesday 29th November at Hexham Forum Cinema at 1.30pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to see a powerful piece of theatre, so please come and join us in support of this amazing organisation.
