First Time Free

June 7, 2017

A group of young people from Northumberland have had an exclusive opportunity to work with specialists from Open Clasp Theatre Company to create a short drama performance exploring relationships and develop a workshop to promote making informed and healthy choices.

Their drama - 'First Time Free' is brilliant and very powerful; it goes on tour within Northumberland High Schools (with year 9 students) for five weeks launching on SAFE WEEK 5th June and ending on 7th July.

There will also be a number of community performances to enable parents, professionals, anyone over the age of 13 who has an interest in safeguarding children, preventing domestic abuse and child sexual exploitation to attend. There is no cost to attend - the project has been funded through a grant from the Arts Council England.

The drama and workshops are ALL youth led, the young people have worked so hard on this; we would love to see YOU there.
