Domestic Abuse Bill & Parliament

After dropping Theresa May’s landmark domestic abuse bill, the government has now promised to bring it back in the Queen’s Speech – but survivors, campaigners and MPs are still unsure what will happen next. Fab fundraising!

NDAS is delighted to have been presented with a cheque for £655.00 from Soroptimists International of Tynedale. They held a fundraising evening in aid of NDAS at the Golden Dragon Chinese restaurant in Hexham. Helen Milner from the Soroptimists presented the cheque to Ann Connor, NDAS Funding and Planning Officer. #SiTynedale Golden Dragon

NDAS is pleased to announce that we have received a grant from The Community Foundation to help run healthy/unhealthy relationship workshops in local schools and youth groups in South East Northumberland for 6 months 👏👏

NDAS is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a grant from The Tudor Trust. The generous grant is over 2 years and will help cover core costs and give us some much needed stability and time for planning for the future.

NDAS would like to say a huge thank you to Warden In Hexham Womens' Institute for their very generous donation. Their donation will go towards buying supplies for a Recovery Toolkit Course running next month.

NDAS would like to say a huge thank you for the generous donation from a member of the public for £100. Generous donors like this are the key to our success and make it possible for NDAS to provide local individuals and families in need with assistance and critical services. In the past year we have been able to help 216 adult victims and 198 children across the whole of Northumberland, providing practical and emotional support.
